.This series came about as a result of my walks to the coast through Star Swamp, an area of untouched coastal bush. It was magical to watch this scrubby West Australian bush produce these marvelous flowers in Spring.
Each of these oil paintings is about 20 X 25 cms (8" X 10 "), on blocked canvas. The concept is that the paintings could be hung individually or grouped in 2's or more connected by cord to form a larger tile-like grouping. The effect is most interesting in both traditional and contemporary settings.
